Editorial policy
Fresh Conversation aims to make its explanations clear, fair and useful. We distinguish what an article describes from what it recommends, and we make room for the limits of any general advice about human interaction.
Accuracy and care
We check claims against suitable information before publication and use plain wording to show the scope of a point. Examples are illustrative unless clearly identified otherwise; we do not present invented scenarios as reporting or imply that one conversational approach works for everyone.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial arrangement. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly identified where it appears, and partnership placements are labelled so readers can tell them apart from editorial articles.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the page and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update an article when a change is warranted, making the nature of a substantive correction clear on the page.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. When they are, we identify them as AI-generated and do not use them as evidence that a depicted event or person is real.
A conversation is made between people
No single trick can make an exchange worthwhile. Attention, a little patience and a question asked in good faith can give it room to grow.
